Our Services

Our Holistic Approach To Therapy

At Noonie and Bubs Pediatric Therapy, we take a holistic approach because we recognize that every child is more than a single skill or diagnosis. We look at the whole child, their physical, emotional, social, and sensory needs, and how these interact with their everyday environments, including home, school, and the community.

We also believe that collaboration is essential. By working closely with families and other professionals involved in a child’s life, we aim to provide support that is consistent, thoughtful, and truly centered on the child’s overall well-being.

We are thrilled to be a private practice that is also able to provide services to children within a school setting. This is why our service location is truly unique and we are excited to welcome the community to our space.

Speaking Practice

Speech

In speech therapy, we work on how you say sounds and put sounds together into words, phrases, sentences and in conversation. We want your child to be understood by an unfamiliar listener 80% of the time, by the age of 4 years old.

Language

In language therapy, we work on how to understand what we hear (i.e. following verbal directions) or read and how we use words to tell other what we are thinking.

Speech Therapy

Oral Motor Skills

We work on the movements, strength and coordination of the muscles in the mouth, tongue, cheeks, lips and jaw to assist with feeding and speech skills. The strength, coordination and control of these oral structures are the foundation for feeding in relation to sucking, biting, crunching, licking and chewing.

Feeding the Baby

Early Feeding Skills

In feeding therapy, we work on breast and/or bottle-feeding difficulties, transferring from liquids to solids, and texture/sensory difficulties with food. We use a holistic approach and collaborate with other specialists, like Occupational Therapists, Lactation Consultants, Pediatricians, ENTs, etc. to improve feeding skills.

Kids Using Digital Tablet

Social Skills

In therapy, we work on social language concepts like turn taking, understanding tone, gestures, facial expressions and body language, and how to continue a conversation with others.

Quality Time

Parent Education

We host parent-led child classes, parent classes, Q&As, and provide resources, coaching/training opportunities to learn more about developmental milestones, communication, feeding, interactive reading, playing, shoe tying and more.

Children in School

Workshops

We host in-person and virtual training opportunities for educators and other pediatric professionals who would like to learn more about what services Speech-Language Pathologists provide and how we can collaborate and help serve the community together.
